Illustrious Homes were asked to convert two traditional Pimlico townhouses.

Our clients required that a two bedroom, one bathroom loft conversion be constructed. Due to the period of the buildings we needed to remove the entire existing roof and construct a completely new ‘mansard roof’ to enable the conversion.

The rest of the conversion and restoration included installing a new heating system, two new bathrooms and a new kitchen. Our specialist carpenters overhauled all sash windows whilst maintaining the period features.

The entire construction and renovation project had to be completed in six weeks which involved large teams of workers and a high level of logistical organisation in order to meet that deadline. We were able to meet both this very tight time scale and maintain high levels of finish and workmanship.
